Nº2. SHOPPING GUIDES

  • Since bridal sizes are so ridiculous I ignore them and use inches.

    • Bust (B) ~ This is the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.

    • Waist (W) ~ Your smallest circumference around your stomach.

    • Hip (H) ~ The fullest circumference around your pelvic/buttocks area.

    • Waist to floor ~This is the straight distance from your waistline to where the dress will hit the floor.

      • Keep the tape measure level when measuring and get help for the best results!

If traditional sizes don’t fit you well, like most of us, look for a dress that fits your largest circumference. Then get alterations to have the gown taken in to a perfect fit.

ALWAYS look for a dress slightly bigger, never smaller. You can have it taken in, but rarely can they be taken out.

I recommend staying within 5 inches to avoid drastic alterations.

  • Since I only upcycle one of each gown, the sizes I have in stock often fluctuate, and my stock is frequently limited. I try to maintain a variety and carry just about every size, including plus sizes up to 32W. My most common sizes are between a standard 10 and 20W, as those are the easiest for me to source and sell.

If you are interested in my work but don't see a dress in your size available, check out my works in progress. The perfect dress for you might be in the making!

  • I want you to love your dress and not be stuck with it. For this reason, online purchases have a 7-day try-on period from the date the dress is received.

During these seven days, the dress can be returned for any reason at no cost to you.

Once the seven days have passed, the dress sale is final. If you need any alterations, I suggest meeting with your local tailor to get an idea of the cost and feasibility of the alteration during this 7-day try-on period.
